I’m Managing Director of Ceedbox. We build technology specifically for the freight and logistics industry.
Freight has no shortage of software. The harder problem is that operations still span people, inboxes, spreadsheets, specialist systems, customer requirements, carrier data and thousands of exceptions.
Ceedbox is where I spend most of my professional time trying to make that environment simpler. The aim is not another layer of technology for its own sake. It is to connect workflows, data and decisions in ways that reduce manual work and make operations easier to understand.
The platform should be able to meet an operator where the problem starts rather than demand an all-or-nothing transformation. Useful capability first, then more value as more of the workflow becomes connected.
That same approach shapes how I think about automation and AI: controlled, useful steps that earn trust before they earn more responsibility.
Logistics software is judged in production. It has to work when somebody has a customer waiting, a vessel cut-off approaching and six other things demanding attention.
